HGV Class 2 Driver

Our client based in Erith is looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver.

Immediate start available.

HGV Class 2 Driver average of 14 drops per day, collection on return route

Salary: £39,000 pa + OT, paid weekly

Rota: Saturdays, paid at 1.5 one weekend in 4

Holiday: 20 days + BH

Routes are normally DA8 to SE1 areas, mainly pallet work occasional routes to NW and SW London

Must be able to use tail lift able to use electric pump truck

Driver Principal Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Ensuring that the vehicle is presentable at all times and the daily checks are completed.
• Maintaining a reasonable level of fuel and fluids in the vehicle at all times.
• Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed on a daily basis.
• Liaising with customers on their premises as necessary.
• Debrief the team on a daily basis covering customer requests, delivery performance and customer feedback.
• Work as a key part of the team
• Contributing to the maintenance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
• Promoting good housekeeping for an efficient working environment
• Well presented at all times
