Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

To provide high-quality care, safety, and early-years education for children, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in line with EYFS standards.

• Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning and play activities
• Observe, assess, and record children's development and progress
• Support children's emotional, social, and physical development
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed at all times
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
• Assist with daily routines including meals, hygiene, and rest periods
• Promote inclusion, equality, and positive behaviour

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of EYFS framework
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for early-years childcare and development

• Paediatric First Aid certification
• Previous nursery or childcare experience
• Safeguarding training
• Experience working with children with additional needs

• Nursery / early-years setting
• Shift-based working including early and late shifts
• DBS check required
