Assistant Project Manager

A hugely respected Construction Consultancy located near Richmond is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their focused Project Management team. The Assistant Project Manager would be offered a Hybrid approach in this opportunity.

The Assistant Project Manager will be joining an award-winning Consultancy that are highly experienced in delivering bespoke projects from Inception-Completion within a wide range of sectors such as Health care, Residential, Commercial and Retail.

The company that the Assistant Project Manager will be joining:

An Assistant Project Manager will be joining a dynamic Consultancy with eight offices located in the UK that provide specialist support whilst delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors.

The Construction firm require an Assistant Project Manager to assist in the delivery a variety of exciting projects such as roll out of New Builds, Fit Outs, Refurbishment and Reconfiguration of existing Buildings across the UK mainly within the Health care, Residential, Commercial and Retail sectors with Contract values up to 75m.

Assistant Project Manager Role:

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for providing support to senior members within the Project Management and wider team throughout all stages of a project ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting project planning and scheduling.
• Assisting in budget management and cost control.
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitoring project progress and performance.
• Contributing to risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

The Assistant Project Manager requirements:

• Some experience in Health care, Residential, Commercial and Retail sectors would be ideal.
• Ideally commutable to Richmond and surrounding areas.
• BSc or MSc in Project Management is preferred.
• Understanding of New Build, Fit Out and Refurbishment projects.
• A strong desire to learn and grow your skill set.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Chartered background would be helpful.
