Cover Supervisor and HLTAs

• Working Hours: 8:30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
• Pay: £16.92 per hour

We are currently collaborating with numerous schools in Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas who are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors and HLTA's to join our team on a flexible basis. This role is perfect for individuals who are available for last-minute assignments starting early in the morning and are open to positions that could potentially become long-term or permanent.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Be available to receive phone calls from 7am for same-day assignments.
• Supervise classes and manage behaviour during the absence of the regular class teacher.
• Ensure that pre-set work is completed by students, maintaining a focused and productive environment.
• Assist in preparing learning materials under the direction of the teacher.
• Manage classroom resources and setup required for class activities.
• Provide feedback on student performance to teachers and help manage class behaviour.
• Adapt to varying educational settings and student needs with flexibility and a positive attitude.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and respond to last-minute calls.
• A professional and patient approach to managing classroom environments.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
