• To support the Head of Quality to improve standards of delivery across the provision (Vocational Training, Functional Skills and Employability), ensuring it meets quality and compliance standards.

• Lead and deliver assigned quality improvement projects in line with agreed priorities.

• Design, coordinate and deliver training to quality managers, curriculum managers and teaching teams across Functional Skills, ESOL and vocational programmes.

• Promote innovative and effective teaching and learning strategies across the education teams - sharing best practice.

• Monitor and support Quality Improvement Plans, including Ofsted action plans.

• Review learning resources and documentation to ensure compliance with our clients' quality standards, providing training where required.

• Work with stakeholders to evaluate the impact of interventions and address underperformance.

• Produce timely and accurate management and performance reports.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a PGCE, or equivalent learning and development qualification.

• Must hold a strong background of working within a similar Quality Lead/Management role within the Further Education sector.

• Experience of working with external inspection bodies e.g. Ofsted, and awarding organisations.

• Ability to inspire, lead and motivate teaching staff and learners.

• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
