We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer / Principal Civil Engineer supporting both the Highways, and Development Infrastructure disciplines with drainage (highways design desirable but not a must)!

Role:
You will join an established team of Civil Engineers, supporting multidisciplinary design schemes, to assist with the delivery of projects within two key sectors.

These are:

1. Private Sector Development Infrastructure, consisting of civil infrastructure for building structures, on behalf of developers.
2. Public Sector Highways, on behalf of National Highways & Local Authorities.

You will provide support to a group of highly motivated, developing Engineers and Technicians.
Duties are likely to include the following:

• For Public Sector Highways Projects: Produce below ground drainage/highways drainage design deliverables.
• For Private Sector Development Infrastructure Projects: Produce Surface Water/Foul Water drainage design, including S102, S104, S106 etc.
• Perform technical or professional work activities to assure delivery which meets client requirements.
• Collate plans and schedules and monitor work to meet deadlines, company quality assurance and other requirements
• Liaise and engage with clients and third parties as required
• Take a leading role in promoting health, safety, welfare and sustainability/environmental matters in all areas of your work.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in either the highways drainage or development infrastructure disciplines
• Chartership/Incorporated Engineer Status or evidence of working towards this
• Strong communication skills; written & verbal
• Well motivated with a positive attitude

Desired:

• Use of AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage/Causeway Flow and 3D modelling software, like Civil 3D, Site3D, PDS, or KTF.
• Working knowledge of sustainable practices
