A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Bromley is looking for Academic Mentors for a October 2025 start. This is a School-based contract, directly employed via the School.

What will this Academic Mentor position involve?

• Providing academic mentoring and support to students across KS3-5

• Helping students develop study skills, time management, and independent learning strategies

• Supporting students with exam preparation and coursework organisation

• Delivering 1:1 and small group sessions tailored to individual student needs

• Collaborating with teaching staff to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement

• Mentoring students to improve academic performance and study habits

• Delivering targeted support across a range of subjects based on your expertise

• £27,500 - £30,000 per annum - Permanent Contract (Salary is based off experience)

• October 2025 Start - Term Time Only - Full Time

• Based in the London Borough of Bromley

• A recent graduate with a First-Class Honours degree (any discipline)

• Experience working with young people in academic or mentoring roles

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A genuine passion for education and helping students reach their potential

• Organised, reliable, and able to motivate and inspire students
