Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing team, delivering large-scale, high-tech construction projects across Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact the commercial success and operational excellence of our projects.
What You ll Be Doing: - Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and monthly valuations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to validate tenders, prepare cash flow forecasts, and maintain project cost control systems (CCS).
- Attend site regularly for measurement, interim valuations, and monitoring of project progress.
- Identify and manage variations, loss and expense claims, and ensure timely submissions in line with contractual conditions.
- Lead on client invoicing, subcontractor payments, and supplier contracts with financial accuracy.
- Monitor procurement activities and ensure timely resolution of contractual or commercial issues.
- Assist in mentoring junior QS team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Support risk and change management processes, working collaboratively with project stakeholders.
- Draft pre- and post-contract correspondence with clients and subcontractors.
What We re Looking For: - Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 5 7 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within M&E or large-scale construction environments.
- Experience across multiple project control functions cost reporting, procurement, contract admin, etc.
- Proven site-based experience on large-scale international projects (data centres, pharma, or commercial fit-outs ideal).
- Solid understanding of construction contracts and their commercial application.
- Strong knowledge of project execution plans, risk management, WBS and cost control methods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to take initiative, work independently, and manage workload under tight deadlines.
- Working toward chartership (e.g., RICS, SCSI) is highly desirable.
