Planning officer

Our client, operating within the housing, transport, and planning sector, is seeking a dedicated Planning Officer to join their team on a contract basis.

• Managing and assessing small scale major developments, complex minor applications, and intricate householder projects
• Working independently to deliver high-quality assessments and planning decisions
• Demonstrating a strong track record of high performance in planning and development management
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of planning applications and decisions
• Providing informed recommendations and guidance to stakeholders
• Reviewing and preparing reports on planning applications and policy

• Significant experience in development management, particularly handling small scale major and complex minor applications
• Proven ability to work on complex householder applications
