Salesforce Developer

Robert Half Technology are assisting a global market leading AI powered tech company to recruit a Salesforce Developer on a contract basis - hybrid working - London based. Outside IR35

Join a growing Data & Revenue Operations (D&R) Team. This role is an opportunity to deliver high-impact improvements to our Salesforce platform while driving integrations with a modern GTM technology stack.

You'll work closely with the Sales, Service, and Operations teams to deliver both quick wins and strategic improvements within Salesforce. This is a hands-on role for someone who can get up to speed quickly, spot opportunities for improvement, and deliver tangible impact over 3-6 months.

Role

1. Salesforce Development & Enhancements

• Design and build custom Apex code, Lightning components, and Flows to support evolving business needs.
• Review and optimise Account, Opportunity, and Contact creation processes, including page layouts, automation, and end-user experience.
• Implement Einstein Activity Capture and configure automatic Opportunity creation when defined criteria are met.
• Enhance Salesforce to support B2C2B models in addition to existing B2B processes.
• Develop and configure solutions for Einstein Case Classification and Einstein Article Recommendations.
• Contribute to longer-term Salesforce initiatives such as Agentforce for Service.

2. Systems Integration & API Work

• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external platforms, including

  6sense (predictive modelling & ABM).
• 6sense Conversational Email.
• Gong Engage (sales engagement).
• Planhat (Customer Success).
• HubSpot (marketing automation with bi-directional Salesforce sync).
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and automation across all integrated platforms.

Profile

• Proven commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer (contract or permanent).
• Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and APIs.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Einstein features (Activity Capture, Case Classification, Article Recommendations).
• Track record of delivering Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or native connectors).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
