Location: Chelmsford Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) A specialist school in Chelmsford is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join their team, working with pupils who have a range of complex needs.
About the Role:
- Support students with SEN, including autism, communication difficulties, and physical or cognitive challenges.
- Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Use creative and adaptive strategies to support student progress and wellbeing.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in education or care settings).
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
