Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Halstead, on a ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering to customers in a professional and timely manner, ensuring all driving and safety standards are maintained.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to customers across various locations
• Speaking to customers face-to-face, providing excellent service at all times
• Adhering strictly to the Highway Code and company driving policies
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle

Experience, Education & Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence essential
• CPC and Digi Tacho card required
• Previous experience in a similar driving role desirable
• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled routes
• Strong awareness of health & safety and road regulations

Hours: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (including weekends)

Salary: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
