1-2-1 Teaching Assistant - Dagenham

Smart Teachers are looking for a 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Dagenham to start as soon as possible

About the role

A primary school in Dagenham is seeking to an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a student with Autism

This role involves assisting the pupil throughout the school day (no personal care required).

Key requirements for the role include:

• Previous experience working with children with autism
• The ability to work independently with the pupil
• Skilled in identifying and addressing the pupil s individual needs throughout the day
• A strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team with other staff members

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant - Dagenham you will:

• DBS on Update Service or willingness to undertake one
• Have experience working with SEN
• Work Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN
