A Vibrant Primary School in Bromley has an exciting opportunity for a KS1/KS2 Teacher.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to primary-aged pupils.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in KS1 and KS2.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Establish a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and encourages high standards of behaviour.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support the academic and personal development of students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to teaching assistants and other support staff within the classroom.
- Engage in continuous self-evaluation and reflection to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching across all primary age groups, with a strong understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
