• Job Type: Full-time, Days (Monday - Friday)

We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Sittingbourne. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong leadership qualities and hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, looking to advance their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Day-to-day of the Engineering Supervisor role:

• Oversee and lead the engineering team, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Actively participate in hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal plant operation.
• Implement and supervise maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and reduce downtime.
• Train and develop team members, enhancing their skills and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Engineering Supervisor:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical or electrical background, with hands-on experience in both areas preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and leading a team.
• Experience in FMCG industry is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make informed decisions.
