An exciting and new opportunity has come up working for one of the largest FM companies across the UK with an annual operating revenue of 17b. This company covers the hard and soft services across some of the largest clients within the commercial, domestic and industrial industry.

We're recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work at a well known MOD site based in Colchester working directly with the FM company and the client delivery mostly small works projects up to 100k. There is already approximately 26m worth of works at this site in the next 3-5 years meaning we are looking for someone with experience dealing with small and large projects. Someone with experience in the Facilities Management industry is also ideal but not essential.

Job Duties & Responsibilities for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• Managing construction projects from a commercial perspective
• Procuring sub-contractors for works
• Cost control for profit/loss purposes
• Meeting clients and contractors
• Cost management
• Quantity surveying
• Supporting senior QS's and the wider team
