Mobile caretaker (temp)

Position: Mobile Caretaker (MUST DRIVE)
Location: NEASDEN (And surrounding areas)
Duration: Temporary - Start April
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch) - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: 15.51 per hour PAYE

Full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual with a full UK driving licence? We are seeking a Mobile Caretaker to help maintain clean, safe, and well-kept environments across Harrow. This is a temporary position with the potential for extension, starting beginning of April.

We recruit for other similar roles so we may be in touch if any other suitable roles come up in the meantime.

Key Responsibilities (mostly cleaning):

• Litter Picking: Ensure outdoor spaces remain clean and tidy.

• Bin Store Maintenance: Keep bin stores clean and accessible for scheduled collections.

• Internal Works: Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and cleaning duties on-site; sweeping, mopping, hoovering

• Repairs & Bulk Collection: Carry out minor repairs (e.g., signage installation, replacing lightbulbs) and collect bulk waste when required.

• Enquiry Response: Address reported issues by removing trip hazards, changing locks, fitting notice boards, and other minor maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (manual) - essential

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and problem-solving skills
