Pharmacy Technician - Band 5- Location: Essex- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:15 pm- Start Date: ASAP- Contract Duration: Ongoing- Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Only- Rate: £18.00 - £30.00/hour (Dependant on experience) Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to support a busy Acute Hospital. This is a patient facing, ongoing role, offering the opportunity to contribute to patient care across both, outpatient and inpatient pharmacy areas. This is a hands on - clinical role requiring a thorough individual, with excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and accuracy-check prescriptions
• Support accurate medication history taking
• Liaise with nurses and doctors regarding discrepancies with patients' medication to improve patient care
• Provide Counselling and complex medication advise to patients and other health care professional
• Work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team
• Ensure legal and professional standards are met in dispensing and supply

Essential Requirements:

• GPhC Registration
• Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Great communication skills
