About Us:
GSL Education is seeking a passionate and qualified Humanities Teacher to work in schools across Slough and Windsor. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in subjects such as Religious Education (RE), Geography, or History while fostering their academic and personal growth.

The Role:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 desirable). You will play a key role in supporting students to achieve their full potential, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position offers a temp-to-perm contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons in your specialist Humanities subject, ensuring alignment with the curriculum.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance learning outcomes.
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.

About You:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a specialization in RE, Geography, or History.
• Experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for engaging and inspiring students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
