Location: South London

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced Remedial Plumber to join a professional water hygiene and building services team. The role focuses on delivering remedial plumbing works identified during Legionella risk assessments across domestic and commercial properties. This is a great opportunity for a skilled plumber who wants to work in a supportive environment, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship on every project.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in plumbing, including working with cold water storage tanks and associated systems. You will be confident in carrying out installations, modifications, and repairs, while maintaining strict adherence to health and safety and water hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake remedial plumbing works identified in Legionella risk assessments
• Install, remove, or modify pipework and water system components to ensure compliance
• Inspect, repair, and replace cold-water storage tanks and associated fittings
• Install TMVs, non-return valves, and other water control measures
• Remove dead-legs and reconfigure systems as required
• Complete accurate reports, compliance paperwork, and photographic evidence
• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and colleagues
• Follow company policies and health & safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Proven remedial plumbing experience
• Knowledge of domestic and commercial water systems
• Understanding of Legionella control and water hygiene principles
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
