Multi Skilled Engineer

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Healthcare Sector)
Location: Barnet, North London

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a healthcare facility in Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, particularly in a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all maintenance activities on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the facility (electrical and mechanical systems).
• Respond to maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and patients.
• Assist with any additional duties as required by the site management team.

Shift Pattern:

• Rotating shifts:
  • 6:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• On-Call: 1 in 5/6 weeks
• Weekend On-Call Rates:
  • Saturday (time and a half until 1:00 PM)
  • Sunday (double time until 5:00 PM)

On-Call Allowance:

• £101 per week minimum for on-call duty.
• Minimum 4 hours call-out if contacted.

Essential Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Electrical Engineers: Must hold 18th Edition certification.
• Mechanical Engineers: Hospital, gas, and water qualifications required.
• Multi-Skilled candidates are preferred, with strong knowledge in both disciplines.
