Join the Close Brothers HR team where you will will support the HR team by providing generalist HR support and specialist policy and legislative HR advice.
Working as part of the HR team, our ideal team member will have previous HR experience with excellent stakeholder management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage HR employee relations matters to achieve resolution that is fair, consistent, and cost effective. Escalate any sensitive issues or themes as appropriate
- Manage ER issues as required; for example, conducting investigations and managing disciplinary, capability and grievance hearings
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance in line with company policy and procedures to relevant client groups
- Develop robust and credible stakeholder relationships with key stakeholders
- Support the HRBP in executing an effective Compensation review including managing the process and facilitating challenge meetings, if required
- Contribute to the annual talent and succession process, supporting the HRBPs, through facilitating challenge meetings, updating talent profiles and preparing packs identifying key themes
- Support the coordination of the weekly hiring approvals process. Ensure that requests for replacement and new roles have robust rationale
- Provide support for HR change activities and projects as required
- Lead / participate in ad hoc projects/HR initiatives as required and across the bank as required
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF: - You have sound knowledge of HR generalist practice and have worked proportionately within employment legislation
- You have strong analytical skills and can present a compelling case around data and actionable insight
- You have strong relationship building skill and effective stakeholder management
- You are resilient and thrives in ambiguous environments
- You have excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- You are either CPP / CIPD qualified or have equivalent level of HR experience
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU: - Have experience of working within Financial Services
- Have experience of Cascade, PeopleFluent and other HR systems
- Have experience of supporting change programmes
