Administrator - Hourly Rate: £18.70 PAYE

Join the London Police Service as an L and D Administrator, supporting the Leadership & Development team. This role is crucial in delivering training to approximately 9,500 leaders across the Met. You will be part of an existing admin team of four, supervised on-site, and play a key role in managing a high-volume shared inbox and course scheduling.
Day-to-day of the role: - Inbox Management: Handle a high-volume shared inbox, responding to queries from senior officers regarding training schedules, rescheduling, and system issues.
- Course Administration: Book and reschedule leadership training courses, track attendance, and manage course rosters.
- Reporting & Record-Keeping: Generate simple reports such as attendance lists and record meeting attendance, following up on absentees.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise professionally with senior officers using tact and diplomacy in both written and verbal communication.
- Team Collaboration: Work within an admin team of four, supporting facilitators and leadership training events as needed.
- Occasional On-Site Support: Provide administrative support at events in locations like Hendon or New Scotland Yard approximately twice a month.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in inbox and diary management, particularly in high-volume settings.
- Proven administrative support experience within large organisations, public or private sectors.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior leadership.
- Self-starter with initiative and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong preference for candidates with PA/EA experience.
