Estates Site Manager's Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily management of the school facilities, ensuring everything is compliant and in top condition.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, from heating and lighting to security systems.
• Manage contractors and liaise with suppliers to keep the school running smoothly.
• Ensure the site is clean, safe, and ready for students and staff each day.
• Lead and support the Estates team, including caretakers and cleaning staff.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Respond confidently in emergencies - fire drills, lockdowns, and critical incidents.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in facilities, estates, or premises management (school experience a bonus)
• Strong maintenance skills and a hands-on, solution-focused approach.
• Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations.
• A proactive mindset - you can spot issues before they become problems!
• Great leadership and team management abilities.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with facilities management software.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
