Director of Finance & Operations - About The Role

This role is essential for driving financial strategy, business planning, and operational performance across the UK and EU, ensuring the growth and continued success of the organisation.

You will oversee the financial management for the Group and its subsidiaries, including both internal and external providers, while managing the operations team. Additionally, you will serve as Company Secretary, supporting governance and regulatory compliance for all legal entities.

• Oversee and implement business plans, set and manage goals, and drive performance
• Manage financial matters including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial control, audits, and maximizing income
• Communicate financial performance to the Board, staff, and stakeholders
• Lead external accountancy firms across the EU
• Oversee HR strategy, ensuring compliance and alignment with company strategy
• Act as Company Secretary for all legal entities

The successful Director of Finance & Operations will have/be:

• Qualified accountant
• Proven track record in a senior management role, ideally within consultancy
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly
• Knowledge of company law, data protection
• Strong experience managing organisational finances, budgeting, and staff
• Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial skills
