Job Description: Sustainability Manager (Project-Based)

The organisation is seeking an experienced and motivated Sustainability Manager to oversee sustainability initiatives across its office refurbishment projects. This project-based role requires a professional with a strong background in construction-related sustainability practices and a passion for promoting environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Sustainability Strategies: Design and implement sustainability strategies for office refurbishment projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental regulations and industry benchmarks.
• Resource Management: Optimise the use of resources, including energy, water, and materials, to minimise waste and reduce environmental impact.
• Sustainable Design: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to incorporate sustainable design principles into refurbishment initiatives.
• Green Certifications: Manage the pursuit of green building certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED) for refurbishment projects, ensuring compliance with all required criteria.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to integrate sustainability practices into all aspects of project planning and execution.
