TeacherActive are seeking a dedicated Outreach, Engagement & Intervention Worker to join our team at a secondary school in Witham. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to engage students who are facing challenges that impact their education and well-being.

• Work closely with students at risk of permanent exclusion or social disadvantage.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support engagement and positive outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to encourage progress.
• Provide tailored mentoring and support, helping students develop resilience and confidence.
• Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure holistic support for students.

• Previous experience in a similar role within an educational or youth work setting.
• A strong understanding of behaviour management and student engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (essential).
