Our client is a market leading supplier of fitted kitchens and bedrooms for new build homes. They supply a number of leading UK housebuilders, as well as developers of inner-city high-rise projects and social housing providers with a diverse product range and outstanding service. Their investment in the largest field-based team in the industry, along with outstanding manufacturing capabilities, delivery process and after-sales service means they have built strong long-term relationships with their customers, and they continue to scale at pace.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of their divisions for the position of Site Project Manager to service the Southern region. The ideal candidate will be based in the Stratford (London) or surrounding area within a 10-mile radius. The role is field based and brings with it the responsibility of protecting the business by managing and documenting site activity, both pre-delivery and post-delivery. The role will come with a company car given the field-based nature of the position.

Site Project Manager - Responsibilities

- Ensuring excellent service to customers by establishing and maintaining clear lines of communication.

- Attending site set ups and progress meetings for allocated Skyline projects.

- Scheduling plots for delivery via site plot schedules on the company portal, and or submitting call-off forms to the Sales Office, in line with customer programmes and lead-times.

- Carrying out the check measure of plots three weeks before delivery for standard product and five weeks before delivery for non-standard product. Reporting and documenting any findings directly to the customer via IMS documentation.

- Submitting approved marked up revisions to the Design Office.

- Carrying out the readiness inspection of plots to ensure that when materials arrive on site they can be fitted without delay.

- Inspecting the delivery and offload route a week prior to delivery, reporting back any issues to the National Project Manager.

- Carrying out week of delivery checks on plots to ensure that they have progressed to a level which enables company materials to be fitted.

- Maintaining a site activity folder throughout the life of allocated projects.

- Working closely with Contract Managers and fit teams to ensure that the delivery to completion of materials is kept to the shortest time scale possible.

- Integrating company procedures with customer systems, such as 4 Projects, CADWEB, Conject and Fieldview.

- Reporting and documenting findings both internally and externally.

- Completing the stage and final stage sign offs for company materials on site.

Site Project Manager - Required Skills

- Experience of scheduling and managing plots, including check measures and readiness inspections.

- High levels of customer service, with good time management skills.

- Able to work effectively to achieve departmental KPI targets.

- Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels to develop existing relationships with Architects, Specifiers, Site/Project Managers, Buyers, Senior Managers and Directors.

- Able to work under pressure, with a self-motivated and deadline driven approach.

- Able to contribute to and excel within a dynamic team.
