Our client is a very well established, reputable company providing accounting services in the UK.

Our client is looking for an ambitious individual with a minimum of two years practice experience, looking to further and strengthen their career. Ideally you will be AAT level 3 qualified or studying ACCA. QBE will be considered also.

Candidates should have a good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and to grow in the role. Good communications skills and the ability to work in a team are essential.

The working hours are 09:00 to 17:30 with an hour for lunch and they offer a very friendly and vibrant working environment. Hybrid working is offered after successful completion of a 3-month probation.

Skills required:

• Preparation of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts.
• Preparation of personal, partnership and corporation tax returns.
• Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, along with processing payroll and pensions as and when required.
• Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage 50 and VT.
• BTC Practice Software would be an advantage, however training will be provided.
• Microsoft 365
• Correspondence with clients and agencies such as the HMRC.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally an understanding of FRS102 and FRS105.
