Arabic Speaking Patient Translator (Medical) - Private Hospital

This is a temporary contract for 2-3 months.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Hourly rate: £17.50 per hour

Location: Marylebone

Responsibilities:

To support Arabic speaking patients, Consultants and other staff at The London Clinic with communications by providing translation services.

• Provide face to face assistance to the patients that require ad-hoc assistance in chasing up reports, LOGs and solving other issues that visitors to the UK may have

• Orientating patients to the Clinic and explaining how and why procedures are in place.

• Providing language support to enable patients to communicate with doctors, nurses and other professionals involved in the patient pathway

• Communicating and resolving patient complaints with relevant Clinic departments; escalating where appropriate
