Experienced Animal Technician

We are on the lookout for Experienced Animal Technicians in the Milton Keynes area. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine husbandry duties, including feeding, cleaning, watering, and ensuring the welfare of the animals are in line with Home Office and GMP regulations
• Conduct health checks and room checks
• Perform Paracox QC testing (oocyst counts) following SOPs and GMP compliance
• Assist with regulated procedures when required
• Be responsible for cleaning rooms and workspaces
• Raising of deviations in the Quality Management System and completion of
• non-investigative records

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience working in a research facility with rodents
• Experience in animal husbandry and competent in health checks
• Ability to identify deviations and raise events in the Quality Management System
• Home Office License (preferred)
• Knowledge of Animals Scientific Procedures Act 1986

This opportunity is a 12-month contract with potential to move to a permanent position.
