Quantity Surveyor

Location: Essex office / some Hybrid working

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Major Works/Finance department. The successful candidate will oversee financial and commercial aspects of allocated engineering contracts and projects, ensuring that costs are minimized and value recovery is maximized.

Salary & package:

• £50,000 to £55,000 per annum

• Overseeing lifts & escalators projects, modernisations & renewals, and servicing activities.
• Oversee valuations and applications for payment.
• Manage cash collection efforts.
• Liaise with Project and Site Managers.
• Produce cash flow forecasts and maintain contract records.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quantity Surveying within a mechanical or engineering environment.
• Intermediate skills in Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Working towards RICS membership or similar qualification is desirable.
