We're looking for a skilled pensions administrator to manage the efficient daily administration of defined benefit pension schemes for multiple clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of DB pension schemes, including processing member records, contributions, transfers, and retirements.
  • Maintain accurate member data on administration systems.
  • Respond to member queries via phone, email, or letter regarding benefits, statements, and scheme rules.
  • Prepare and issue annual benefit statements and other member communications.
  • Calculate pension benefits, lump sums, and death benefits accurately.
  • Support projects such as scheme valuations, data improvements, and system implementations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to 'A' level and degree level or equivalent
  • Demonstrable DB (defined benefit) pensions administration experience within a consultancy environment
  • Making good progress towards the APMI qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage workloads
  • The ability to work on your own but also as part of a team
