Junior Electrical Estimator

Madisons Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our clients well established team in Epsom, Surrey.

Duties:

• Accurately reviewing project plans and ensuring all electrical requirements are correctly captured in estimates
• Using your hands on site and tools experience to understand practical aspects of projects and then provide estimations
• Working closely with the Project Managers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Helping the team meet project deadlines with the preparation of estimates
• Learning and developing your estimating skills including the use of software tools
• Keeping accurate records and contributing to the maintenance of cost databases and documentation

Requirements:

• Site/tools experience in electrical works essential
• Previous experience in estimating electrical projects is preferred
• Experience with estimating software is desired but not essential, and full training will be provided
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
• Ability to build strong working relationships
• Computer literate
• Good attention to detail
