CNC Setter Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our team. As a CNC Turner Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating Fanuc controlled lathes to produce high-quality precision components.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes according to job specifications and ensure proper calibration
• Operate CNC lathes to produce precision components within specified tolerances
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine operation or production quality
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
• Proficiency in setting and operating Fanuc controlled lathes
• Strong understanding of machining principles and practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Day-to-day

• Setting up CNC lathes for specific jobs
• Operating CNC lathes to produce precision components
• Inspecting finished parts for quality assurance
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with machine operation
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment

Rate and Hours

• Rate: Competitive, based on experience
• Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime as needed
