Planner

Our client is a leading UK construction and development company specialising in design and build projects across commercial and residential sectors. They have a strong reputation in the industry for quality and innovation.

An opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join the team in London, working on multiple projects.

The position will report directly to the Pre-Construction Director.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate project planning for various construction projects in London.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure schedules are developed, maintained, and communicated.
• Ensure that all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Provide planning support throughout the pre-construction phase and assist in the project handover to the delivery team.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with the overall timeline.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular updates to the Pre-Construction Director and senior management.

Skills / Experience required for the role:

• Experience working as a Planner within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.
• Proven track record in the planning and delivery of large-scale design and build projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning software, such as Asta Powerproject, Primavera, or MS Project.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Degree qualification or equivalent in a construction-related field is desirable.
• Knowledge of construction processes, project management, and risk management.

Further Information on the Role:

In return, our client is offering an all-in salary of 85k - 90k.
