Site Manager

Invision Recruitment are currently working with an award-winning regional main contractor. Due to winning a new contract, they are currently seeking a Freelance Site Manager to oversee an external refurbishment project around the Tottenham area. The scope of works is mainly roofing repairs and replacements with some external scaffold management to scattered social housing properties. The Freelance Site Manger would be required to oversee the day to day running of the site responsible for the delivery of the works, welfare, health & safety and client liaison.

Job Overview:

As a Site Manager/Freelance Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You will play a crucial role in liaising between the site team, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and update stakeholders regularly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among site team members.
• Manage site resources efficiently, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Handle any on-site issues or emergencies swiftly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven external refurbishment experience, preferably to Social Housing properties.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
• MUST have valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid.
