My client is one of the UK and France's most established suppliers of water efficiency technologies, specializing in rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems. With decades of experience delivering sustainable solutions for large commercial, residential, and industrial projects, they are at the forefront of environmental innovation. Their success is built on the talent and commitment of their team, and they are now seeking a passionate Design Engineer to join their Technical Department.

The role involves preparing feasibility proposals, technical designs, and tender documents for water reclamation systems, working closely with contractors and consultants to deliver impactful solutions. You'll use AutoCAD and Revit (training provided) to create schematics and 3D models, while also contributing to innovation by exploring new technologies and improving internal processes. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote working and office collaboration, with comprehensive training and long-term growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering qualification (degree or equivalent) and bring a technical mindset with strong communication skills. Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, or interpreting mechanical and drainage drawings is beneficial but not essential. Most importantly, my client is looking for someone passionate about sustainability, eager to learn, and ready to grow into a technical leadership role over time.

The Role

• Design water reclamation systems from feasibility to tender.
• Create AutoCAD schematics and 3D Revit models (training provided).
• Collaborate with contractors and consultants on technical solutions.
• Innovate by exploring new technologies and improving processes.
• Work closely with the MD and receive hands-on training.

The Person

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Ambitious, with a desire to progress to senior roles.
• Willing to learn AutoCAD, Revit, and water technologies.
• Passionate about sustainability and impactful solutions.
