About the Role
 We are seeking an experienced professional to join our busy exports/shipping department. The role involves coordinating international moves, managing operational details, and ensuring compliance with customs and quality standards.
 Key Responsibilities
  - Arrange quotes for local offices on international moves from the UK to overseas destinations.
- Input shipment information into the bespoke operational database.
- Calculate and verify sea freight and delivery charges.
- Liaise with local offices and overseas agents to confirm operational details.
- Ensure all customs, insurance, and contract documentation is accurate and received on time.
- Coordinate delivery arrangements with agents and provide necessary paperwork.
- Communicate relevant details to overseas agents and local offices.
- Maintain accurate records in the operational system.
- Create sales invoices and approve purchase invoices for payment.
- Monitor payments to suppliers and update customs procedures as needed.
- Track changes in freight rates and exchange rates, updating pricing accordingly.
- Keep the operational system updated with changes to pricing, transit times, and involved companies.
Ideal Candidate
  - Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within an exports/shipping department.
- Strong knowledge of database systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic, service-driven team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- High attention to detail with strong administrative and quotation skills.
- IT literacy is essential.
