About the Portfolio Manager - Bridging Finance Role

As Portfolio Manager - Bridging Finance, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of active customers, brokers and internal stakeholders. You'll be responsible for managing all post-completion enquiries, processing borrower requests, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring service standards remain consistently high.

You'll be working within a close-knit portfolio management function, reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management, and will have the autonomy to take ownership of complex queries while contributing to a wider team committed to service, compliance and operational excellence.

Portfolio Manager - Bridging Finance Key Responsibilities

• Act as the lead contact for a portfolio of bridging finance and specialist mortgage customers
• Manage inbound requests relating to consents, redemptions, variations and borrower queries
• Process borrower requests in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify and escalate potential risks or concerns to the appropriate teams
• Support continuous process improvements and deliver service excellence across every interaction

Portfolio Manager - Bridging Finance Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in a portfolio management, servicing, or post-completion role within bridging finance, specialist lending, or secured property finance
• Strong understanding of short-term lending products, redemptions, consents and variations
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
• Confident in managing high-volume and high-value cases simultaneously
• Commercial mindset with a focus on outcomes, service and risk awareness
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and managing priorities independently
