Responsible Individual Children's Home

Connect2Socialwork is excited to collaborate with our client based in Ilford, who are about to register their second home catering for 11-17 year olds with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future success of the home. If you have at least 5 years experience as a Registered Manager or experience as a Responsible Individual and would like to work with an organisation who align themselves with the needs of the children/young people, we would like to hear from you.

There is also an opportunity to oversee another 3-bed EBD home located within 7 minutes drive of the 4-bed home.

Responsibilities:

• As the Responsible Individual, you ensure that the home adheres to all pertinent legislation and standards
• Manage the home effectively and provide strategic leadership
• Develop unified plans with managers for services provided to children and young people
• Ensure that care and service are consistently of the highest quality, in line with legislation, government guidance, regulations and the organisation's policies and procedures

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Manager; OR
• At least 2 years of experience as a Responsible Individual

Salary:

• Part time: £65k-£80k pro rata: OR
• £300 - £400 per day on self-employed basis
