Goods In Operative

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Goods In Operative to join their busy client in Luton. The successful candidate will have strong experience working within a Goods In Department and will also have previous experience using a counterbalance or reach forklift. This is a temp2perm position, you'll join on a 12 week temp basis before joining our client permanently.

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:30 to 18:00

This role involves:

• safely receive products, including returns
• check against delivery notes / Purchase Orders
• book in and put away stock
• resolving queries
• operating forklift (counterbalance / reach)

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

• previous experience working in a Goods In team within a distribution centre environment
• previous experience using a reach truck or counterbalance forklift (must be able to provide in-house or valid licence)
• computer literate
• fluent English speaking, reading & writing
• strong attention to detail
• happy to use step ladders
• happy to work in picking or assembly department as and when required
• available for an immediate start
