Service Engineer - Intruder Alarms (with CCTV & Access Control)
Location: London & West of London East London & Essex Kent
Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 basic (DOE) + excellent earning potential + company van
About the Role
You'll be joining an established, NSI Gold-approved security company, known for delivering reliable and high-quality systems across London and the South East.This role is ideal for an experienced Service Engineer with a strong background in Intruder Alarms. You'll take ownership of servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding a range of systems, ensuring your clients are always protected and compliant.While your main focus will be on Intruder Alarms, experience with CCTV and Access Control systems would be a great advantage. You'll work independently across commercial and residential sites, supported by a professional and experienced team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding Intruder Alarm systems (main focus)
- Carrying out remedial and reactive works across customer sites
- Supporting with CCTV and Access Control maintenance (secondary focus)
- Providing excellent technical support and customer service
- Ensuring compliance with NSI and manufacturer standards
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation
- Managing your workload efficiently and independently
What You'll Need
- Proven experience working on Intruder Alarm Systems (service, maintenance & fault-finding)
- Experience with CCTV and Access Control systems (beneficial)
- Good understanding of IP networking and remote access
- Familiarity with DualCom and modern communication devices
- Knowledge of NSI codes of practice and relevant standards
- Full UK driving licence (manual)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently across London and the South East
