SEN Teaching Assistant

A SEN setting in Slough is looking to appoint two SEN Teaching Assistants for immediate starts. These roles are full-time, temp to perm, working closely with young male pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs. You'll be joining a nurturing and collaborative team supporting pupils aged 5-11.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Assisting with class routines and implementing behaviour plans
• Providing emotional regulation strategies in challenging moments
• Supporting teaching staff in maintaining a positive environment
• Building meaningful relationships with students and staff

What we're looking for:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential and non-negotiable
• Relevant UK-based experience - essential
• Male role models with experience in SEN or behaviour support
• Calm, patient, and trauma-informed approach
• Commitment to child safeguarding and wellbeing
