VNA Forklift Driver

We are seeking a skilled VNA Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. This role requires a keen understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while handling heavy lifting and materials.

Duties

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas.
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to ensure accurate tracking of materials.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation of forklifts.
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all materials are accounted for and properly stored.
• Assist with the organisation of the warehouse layout for efficient materials handling.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VNA Forklift Operator.
• Valid forklift certification is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and record keeping.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
