Hotel FOH Manager - Paddington - 46,000 + Tronc (Immediate Start)
Location: Paddington
Hours of Work: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Basic Salary: 46,000 Per Annum
We have a fantastic role available for a Front of House Manager at a prestigious 5 hotel in Paddington. The successful candidate would ideally need to have a strong FOH background, managerial experience, and preferably a background in the hotel industry. Must be embody professionalism, impeccable presentation, and a vibrant personality.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage the FOH divison's respective budgets
- Ensure all set KPIs are met or exceeded
- Build a strong team that is motivated and performs with consistency Forster a collaborative environment within FOH but also within all other areas of the hotel Ensure team training, development and succession planning within the FOH division in line with training targets and business needs
- Ensure the team is trained to perform to the highest LQA and AA standards with consistency
- Access guest's needs and implement/review/revise pollicies and procedures to enhance guest experience
- Monitor guest feedback across all platforms ensures effective initiatives are implemented to improve the NPS, GRI and Tripadvisor scores
- Ensure regular meetings are being held to discuss performance and solutions.
- Handle guest complaints efficiently and up to the highest service standards
- Ensure deadlines are met across all FOH divisions Operate to the highest H&S standards and ensure the target is met across four annual audits
- Conduct regular meetings with team members and direct reports: 4-8-12 week reviews and quarterly performance reviews
- Recruitment of new FOH team members
- Improve the team member engagement score
- Address performance issues in line with HR policies and guidelines principles
- Be available to take a fair share in weekend Executive on-duty coverage as well as duty management shifts as and when required preparation of the rota, assess training needs, enhance the duty management function
- Communicate clearly and professionally
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hotel front office management or guest services, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating a team.
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and booking software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to providing top-tier customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism during stressful situations.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Familiarity with financial procedures, including budgeting, forecasting, and billing.
- Understanding of health and safety standards in a hotel environment.
- Strong leadership capabilities and a passion for training and developing staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to changing business needs.
