Production Planner

Our client in Aylesbury is seeking a Production Planner to join them on a permanent basis.

4 day working week - Either: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading engineering firm in the Motorsport, Automotive and Aerospace sector, our client is seeking an individual with an interest in developing skills in production and engineering.

As a Production Planner, duties to include but not limited to:

• Planning for production workflow
• Implement, plan, monitor and co-ordinate all departments to ensure plan compliance and completion
• Plan all production with efficiency in mind, looking to maximize productivity
• Identify and allocate required resource to satisfy demand and delivery
• Adjust to to the dynamic nature of the business, customer demands and be able to react accordingly
• Other departmental liaison, such as Stores and Engineering to ensure Production and Dispatch is on schedule
• Communicate potential issues with Supply / Production
• Continuous improvement, seeking Planning and Production Improvements.
• Closely work with and assist the Production Manager

Required Experience:

• Proven track record and knowledge gained as a Production Planner
• Experience of an MRP system
• Working knowledge of MS office suite including spreadsheet experience
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• Good mental agility, able to effectively work on several levels simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Able to work in a dynamic environment under pressure
• Work as part of a team or individually

4 day working week - Either: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.

working hours: 07:00 - 17:30

The client is offering a salary of between £28,000 - £32,000 depending on previous experience.

Holiday allowance is dependent on shift pattern.
