We are recruiting an SEN HLTA for a specialised school in Uxbridge that caters to pupils with SLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about SEN education to take on a leading classroom role and support the learning and development of incredible young people.

• HLTA Qualification is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience working in SEN settings, including experience in a minimum of two schools supporting students with MLD or SLD.
• Confidence and comfort in working with students with SLD, even if your prior experience has focused on MLD.
• Willingness to assist with personal care tasks.
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service is mandatory.

As an SEN HLTA, you will:

• Lead small group activities and support learning plans under the direction of the teacher.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to enhance their confidence and independence.
• Provide personal care and support as needed.
