Position: Delivery Driver - Logistics Industry

Location: London

Schedule: Monday to Friday 11-8/, overtime available, van for business use only but can travel to work and home. Must be over 25 due to insurance purposes.

Our client, a well-established logistics and distribution company, is seeking Delivery Drivers to support their growing operations in London. As a recruitment partner in the logistics sector, we are looking for dependable, professional drivers who take pride in delivering exceptional service.

This is a customer-facing role, ideal for candidates who are reliable, organised, and have a strong knowledge of London. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries while upholding the client's reputation for excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and deliver goods to commercial or residential clients
• Review delivery orders before and after trips to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Maintain professional interaction with clients, as you represent the front line of the logistics business
• Perform daily vehicle checks and complete required check sheets
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and presentable at all times
• Conduct post-shift checks to confirm all deliveries have been completed
• Assist in unloading goods and completing delivery job counts
• Reconcile collected items with returns as per departmental procedures
• Adapt to shifting tasks and delivery routes as required throughout your shift

Candidate Profile & Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of London streets and postcodes
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A calm, responsible, and safety-conscious driving manner
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks under pressure
• Flexible and proactive approach to daily duties
• Previous experience in the logistics, courier, or distribution sectors is highly desirable
• Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
