I'm currently working with a well-established boutique accountancy practice in North West London that has built a strong reputation for quality and client loyalty. They're looking to appoint an Audit/Accounts Senior to join their collaborative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mixed role, with a stronger emphasis on accounts preparation and review than audit, and wants to feel truly valued in their day-to-day work.
Your new role

Leading audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients (30% of your role).

Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.

Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work.

Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.

Supporting partners with ad hoc advisory and compliance work.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally:

ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist.

At least 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.

Strong audit and accounts background with good technical knowledge.

Confident communicator with a proactive approach.

Experience with IRIS, Xero, or similar software is a plus.
